In the beginning of October, ENDE - National Electricity Distribution Company in partnership with Proef Energias de Angola, put into service the 60kV / 15kV Mobile Substation and the 15kV line in Barra do Kwanza, Angola.
The project lasted approximately 5 months, effectively contributing to the improvement of the electrification of the local community, as well as the Hospital of Barra do Kwanza.
Developed in "turn-key” model by Proef Energias de Angola, the project involved the design and implementation of a 20MVA-60kV / 15kV Mobile Substation, one 1000kVA / 15kV Transformer station, three 250kva / 15kv Transformer stations, 15kV Overhead Line, 400v / 230v Overhead Line and Prepaid Counters.
Barra do Kwanza stands out for its natural landscape and a great wealth of natural resources, thus the substitution of generators for energy from the grid significantly reinforces the share of electricity generated from renewable sources.
Congratulations to all the team!
